Tobias Gärtner, aged 36, born in Düsseldorf (Germany) and grew up in Neuss (Germany), Riyadh (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) and Kiel (Germany). I‘m married, have one son aged 4 and one daughter aged 1 and I live in Hamburg and Ochsenfurt (Germany).

Blogs or webpages (not in any specific order!)

pilot-Blog: This is the stuff my agency does. We try to keept it as updated as possible - if the time permits.

Flo Heiss: Creative Director and Partner at daredigital in London, UK. Flo is a great person to listen to and discuss with about the future of advertising and the challenges digital faces. One would never suspect him to be Bavarian.

Creative Social Blog: Brings together the most inspiring digital experts to meet up in person every 6 months or so in great locations. A great network of friends with an honest opinion judging your work. They also let me do this and this, thanks!

AdRants: Ideas and gossip, good source to track what‘s happening in the world of advertising (and not only online!)

PRblogger (only German): Klaus Eck has been around for ages. His comments are thoughtful and very profound. Plus I can recommend his book „Karrierefalle Internet“ for all German-speaking people.

Off-the-Records (only German): News, comments and gossip about the advertising world in Germany. I‘ve already loved his remarks when he was still anonymous and working for the „w&v“.

Ads of the World: Good page to have a look what (mostly the offline guys from all agencies across the globe) have come up with for the next award shows. It‘s inspiring nonetheless.

Schlaflos in München (German Podcast): Annik Rubens ist probably the most popular and famous podcaster in Germany. Her weekly podcast is a great mixture of local, cultural and digital/online/tech information and her voice is just marvelous...and it reminds me of my time in Munich.

And, of course, I follow a lot of people on twitter that post great links and ideas.

I have a regular lecture at the DDA about Online Campaign Management. I also do individual workshop for them.

This page was built as a „business card/vCard“, designed to have something on the URLs that I had reserved. Since my pictures are posted on Flickr or on my mobileMe-Gallery, I do not blog regularly (apart from my twitter posts) and my private webpage is „private“ (meaning password protected and only for the family and close friends - nothing personal!), I had to come up with something different to fill this space.
